Method 1 — In-app deletion (recommended)
Open the Beat Catch app → Profile tab → tap "Delete Account". A two-step confirmation modal appears; once you confirm, your account is suspended immediately and the deletion process begins.

Delete Your Account
You can delete your Beat Catch (developer: Faruk Akgün) account and associated data at any time. This page explains which data is deleted, how, when, and which methods are available to you.

Method 2 — Deletion request by email
If you can't access the app or prefer to request deletion in writing, email privacy@beatcatch.com with the subject line "Account deletion request". Please send from the email address associated with your account; otherwise we may ask for additional information to verify your identity. Requests are processed within 7 business days of receipt.
Data that gets deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed: email address, display name, avatar choice, gameplay stats (scores, MMR, match history), friend invite code records, push notification tokens, and session data.
Retention window and restore
After a deletion request, your account stays in a "soft-delete" state for 30 days — within this window, if you change your mind, email privacy@beatcatch.com to restore it. After 30 days, the data is anonymized or permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Data retained for legal compliance
We retain the following minimum records as required by law: payment/invoice records (if applicable, generally 10 years per Turkish tax law), and anti-cheat / abuse-investigation event logs (anonymized, up to 2 years). These records do not contain personally identifiable information.
Third-party deletion
When your account is deleted, your user identifiers in our service-provider systems (Firebase Analytics, Sentry) are also deleted or unlinked. If you signed in with Google or Apple, you can additionally remove the Beat Catch grant from your Google or Apple account settings.
